My family of 4 (2 boys 11 and 14) are spending 4 days in Edinburgh in June and would like to see the Highlands and Loch Ness. We have been looking at tours and want to see if anyone has experience with them. It seems like a long day to ride in a bus. We are not planning on renting a car. Any suggestions?
In September 2023. we used Rabbie's for 3 day tours from Edinburgh. To me, the bus rides weren't bad at all, there were short pit stops, and photo ops. The drives are mostly through beautiful country.

I also used Rabbie's for a day trip in Sept 2023--the Lochs, Glens & Castles one, hard to choose because they all sounded wonderful. I was quite pleased with all aspects of the day: engaging & knowledgeable driver, small but very comfortable bus (that allowed us to be about 14 people, and also we got off the motorway and went on some scenic one lane roads) followed the itinerary and included a couple of extra places, plenty of time at stops with 1.5 hrs at Inverary Castle so we could tour the castle, have lunch and explore the town.
