Highlands adventures with remote lodging

Hello everyone,
Booking a trip to Scotland for late May to early June. We will be starting with a couple days in Edinburgh and finishing with one night in Glasgow. In-between we have about 6 days to explore the highlands. Want to do Skye and Glencoe and open to other things for that period.
I'd really like to find some lodging throughout the highlands that feels a little more secluded and with great views. Not really picky about the lodging and it's for a group of 4. There are just so many places to stay that it's a bit overwhelming and some places seem to not show pictures of the location compared to landscape or making it seem like it's in a more stunning area than it actually is.

Appreciate any advice.

May 2025? If so you are very late getting on board with booking accommodation. Have you considered less crowded places?

Less crowded places is the preference. Outside of our days on Skye, we would rather be remote and use the rental car to visit the places we'd like to check out and experience.

Look at the Scottish National Parks for accommodations. There are more rustic locations than just the "Highlands". Some are in "Dark Sky" locations. Look at www.visitscotland.com for more accommodations with photos. Also "Secret Scotland" web site.
