Highland tours starting from Inverness to Edinburgh or Glasgow?

Our flight brings us to Inverness & returns from Glasgow 9 days later. Snatched a decent fare so already booked. Originally we planned to take a day trip to I.of Skye from Inverness, then train to Edinburgh for 3 days, then to Glasgow for 3 days, with a separate Highlands daytrip out of Glasgow to/from Oban, Glencoe & surrounds. I haven't been able to find any trips that might start in Inverness & end in Glasgow (or Edinburgh), and basically use the trip as our means of travel from the north to south. All the trips start and end in the same city. Most of the 3 day trips covering the Highland areas of interest also start and end in Edinburgh, which unfortunately is backward from our flight arrival -- we would be backtracking.

Perhaps if allowed we might be able to join one starting in Edinburgh a day late? Know of any others starting in Inverness we could simply leave early? Ideally starting in Inverness, heading to I.of Skye, down to Glencoe & Oban, on to Glasgow (or Edinburgh) before returning to Inverness. We don't want to drive. I know there is always bus and train, but the joy of a 3 day tour package is that they stop in a lot more places, and you can leave your luggage pack on the bus while you disembark to view the sites. Thanks!
