Recs for Scotland Tours with Kids/Teens?

Hello! I'm planning a trip to Scotland with my 12 and 13-year-old daughters. We'll be staying in Edinburgh, and I'd like to book a full-day tour to see sights outside the city. I think they would enjoy seeing castles and some of Scotland's natural beauty.

Does anyone have experience with tours from Hairy Coo or Rabbies? Are they energetic enough to grab the attention of younger travelers? Any recommendations would be great!

Thanks!

I've taken numerous tours with Rabbies and they were excellent. Each tour is different and you might want to discuss the options with your kids.

I’m headed to scotland next week and know from my research here on the forum that everyone raves about the Rabbie’s tours.

I’m signed up for the loch ness, glencoe and highlands day tour. I thought the alnwick castle, Northumberland coast and borders day tour would be a good option for someone who has kids. It seemed like there were multiple activities at alnwick castle geared towards kids.

I don’t think you could go wrong with any of them. Well, you probably don’t want to take the kids on the whiskies and gins tour. 😊
