Golfing in Scotland

Hello,
Other than St Andrews, are there any recommendations for golfing? We are looking for a scenic course that offers good value.

I'm hoping for a few suggestions so I can add one to our itinerary.
thanks. :)

Nairn, about 1/2 hour east of Inverness, has two golf courses: Nairn Golf Club and Nairn Dunbar. The advantage of playing there is that Nairn's climate is the warmest and driest in Scotland.

For lodging I can recommend Tali Ayer B&B (but there are lots of others in town) and for meals The Classroom.

If you follow my suggestion made on your other thread and stay in Ballater or Braemar then you need to play at Braemar Golf Club which is the highest 18 hole course in Scotland. Scenic views guaranteed with good value green fees

Stonehaven Golf Club is in a spectacular location overlooking the North Sea. If you have a tendency to slice, don't try to hit long on the first hole. :)
