Glencoe in mid April

Hello. We will be visiting Scotland next April. We will be taking the train to Inverness and renting a car there for the rest of our trip. We will be going from Inverness to Glencoe the third week of April. Is it likely to be ice on the roads thru Glencoe. We do not plan on driving up any mountains there but just the Pass of Glencoe and also the Glen Etive Rd. We plan on staying somewhere in Glencoe or Fort Williams as we will want to do the Scots Rail or Jacobite train the next day and then heading to Loch Katrine for the steamboat ride. Thank you for any advice.

We were in Glencoe in April...it wasn't raining, it was Misty. We did have a slight dusting of Snow in the higher passes, but it didn't stick. Just wear layers, comfortable weatherproof footwear and knit hats. Places are opening for Spring but check hours ahead. We did see daffodils in the Lowlands. Enjoy your trip.

April in Scotland can have3/4 seasons in one day, twice. Dress well. There are lots of pubs. Check Accuweather or other weather sites.

Thank you both for your help. We are looking forward to it. I do expect to be cold but just want a safe trip. I will definitely bring layers and raincoats. ☔️🌤️😊
