Glen Affric is indeed a wonderful place to visit. I was there as part of my one day Rabbies tour out of Inverness. It was combined with Culloden Moor and Clava Cairns. I very much enjoyed a small hike along the river and also a hill climb with great views of the water and nearby hills.

Glen Affric is a hidden gem. Went there last summer to see the ruins and grounds of the Guisachan Estate which is the ancestral home of my beloved golden retrievers. Stayed at the Tomich Hotel which was the hunting lodge of the estate and hiked to Plodda Falls and Dog Falls and just generally toured the whole area.

Going back again this summer to attend the Guisachan Golden Gathering which is geld every 5 years by the Golden Retriever zClubs of Scotland and UK.
