Me and my wife and 2 boys (8.5 & 13) are planning to reach Glasgow on May 26th Morning. We have done Edinburgh in the past, so giving it a miss.
We plan to do Glasgow and ride in a car to go upto Inverness (or somewhere in between) and come back to Glasgow to take a flight to London on 29th evening.
Which are good car routes and must to be done. what are the other must places to visit on this route. What are the places and suggested itinerary, we must consider.
Also what would be the temperature and sun set timings in both countries be in May end.
Which are good & economical car rental companies. What car rental company is advised and how much would it cost for our period of stay? Any hidden costs that we need to be aware of? Also, how to save on car parking while parking overnight
Whats the present fuel prices?
Also kindly suggest good and reasonable accomodations and cities/towns which should be considered for staying purpose. I would be conscious of cost also.
