Where would I stay in Glasgow that is convenient to town/walking. I won't be driving so prefer a place within or near the city's center. Also, please recommend "must see's" in this city. Thank you!
I stayed at the Premier Inn near George Square most recently. You can also stay in the west end. While you won't want to walk, there is a subway that is easy to use. I liked it out there. There were great restaurants and music etc.

I agree with Pamela. I just returned from Glasgow and passed by the premier inn everyday. It is in a very convenient location. Close to all the sites , restaurants and transportation
Get yourself a day pass for the bus. It was 4 pounds when I was there last, and was for unlimited rides for 24 hours. We used it all over the city. Kelvingrove is my favorite museum - it is part art gallery, part natural history museum, with an emphasis on Scottish artists and inventors. It is free, too! It houses the famous Dali painting "Christ of St John of the Cross". You could easily spend a couple of hours there. Another favorite museum is the Riverside Museum of Transportation in Partick. It is also free to visit and is really fun. There is also a tall ship there that you can go on and walk around.
We stayed last week at the Premier Inn at Buchanan Galleries and loved the location and found that the hotel well suited our needs.
