Help,
I've a family wedding in Edinburgh and my family is flying in to Glasgow from the States. We have an Airbnb in Marchmont Central Edinburgh. Any suggestions on how to get a party of 9 from Edinburgh to Glasgow airport for a departing flight at 12:30 pm? Thanks so much!

There are no rail services to Glasgow Airport and no through bus services to Edinburgh. Your easiest route by public transport is to get the express bus route 500 to George Square in central Glasgow and get the train to Edinburgh from the nearby Queen Street railway station. Both bus and train are frequent and don't need to be booked in advance.

Your title says Glasgow airport to Edinburgh, but the post says Edinburgh to Glasgow airport, so I think it's caused a little confusion.
That said, basically it's the same in reverse. Taxi from your Airbnb to Waverley station, train from there to Glasgow Queen Street (45-50mins), then the airport bus or taxi from outside the station to the airport. For 9 people taxi might be as cheap as the bus, even though you'd probably need 3 of them to take 9 people!
I'd aim to be catching the train no later than 9am, and probably better before 8:30am.
Re the train, make sure to get the express train to Glasgow Queen Street (via Falkirk high route), not to Glasgow central or to Queen Street via another routing (this won't cause a problem, it'll just take longer!). The express trains leave at 00, 15, 30, 45mins past the hour.
Having said that, with 9 people it may be cheaper and easier to get a pre-booked car transfer direct from your accomodation to the airport. This will be quite expensive, but may still be cheaper than 9 train and bus fares (probably about £200)! You'll need to search for a company offering such a service but I'm sure there are plenty - you may also need 2 vehicles as I'm not sure many companies will have a vehicle that can take 9.
