We are flying out of Glasgow very early the morning of May 15. We would appreciate thoughts on where to stay. We're two adults. and would like to be able to walk to the airport terminal (each with a wheeled piece of luggage) if possible rather than take a shuttle or taxi. We aren't looking for luxury, just a clean place to sleep.

The Holiday Inn is within walking distance of the terminal building:
There is also a smaller Holiday Inn Express, a little but farther away, but sill in walking distance.

there is a Travelodge at the airport maybe 6 or 7 minute walk but they do run a free shuttle to the actual terminal.

I've stayed at both the Holiday Inn and the Holiday Inn Express. They are both good, and so-o-o convenient! The HI is excellent, actually one of the nicest airport hotels I've ever stayed in. The HIE is more basic; bed mattress kind of thin and sheets rather worn, breakfast not as tasty.

I've stayed twice at the Holiday Inn Express, just walked over. I didn't realize there was also an HI next door. The HIE was plenty satisfactory each time I stayed, though the last time was 2014.
