Glasglow Scotland

We are staying in June at voco grand central Glasgow. It is a little over my budget, but I don’t care since we have not been anywhere in two years. Our RS guide we had in 2018 told us about the hotel. He generally stays there .

I stayed in a the Premier Inn near George Square a few years ago and it was fine. It's modern and not particularly picturesque, but it meets your other standards.

It’s called Glasgow.

Grand Central is a lovely hotel and worth the price.

I’ll be staying at the Ibis George Square. These aren’t charming hotels but the ones I’ve stayed in before are clean and comfortable and modern. Can’t speak to the area but it’s probably fine. The Grasshopper Inn comes highly recommended on the forum as well.

Just stayed at Grasshopper. Quirky place, on the 6th floor in row of a building built to enclose Central Station. Stay was fine. They still have ice cream and baked goodies available. Location is, well, “central”. Easy connections.

I hope that the IBIS's Breakfast is as good as the one at the Cambridge train station! It's an excellent buffet.
