Me again.
If we do want to stay over on Iona, can we take the West Coast tour to get there and just stay over the night and get another ferry back the next morning?

I would suggest you check with West Coast Tours to see if that is an option. But if you do, how are you planning to get back to Oban from Fionnphort?
West Coast Motors run the bus service between Craignure and Fionphort.
Wouldn't it be easier to do this yourself? Book the ferry from Oban to Craignure, then bus to Fionphort and the foot ferry across to Iona?
I'm assuming if you book on the tour they will expect you to come back on the same day. Try emailing them and ask about this.

By the way, if you want to stay overnight on Iona, you need to book your lodging as far ahead of time as possible. There is a high demand for accommodations there, especially in peak season. In fact, I suspect that if you haven't booked it by now, it may be too late.
