We're going to have 3 days in Glasgow in early June and I'd like to know what my options are for the evenings. What is open in the evenings that might be fun for kids? We're traveling with our 3 boys: 4, 8, and 11.
Could anyone recommend a family friendly pub where we could have a dinner and not feel rushed, or a playground or arcade or something? Sorting out which pubs are suitable using google is a very slow and tedious process.
Bear in mind pubs aren't restaurants. Many (most?) pubs really won't want kids in in the evening. Pub in the evening is for adults to have a drink.
There are many restaurants that are kid-friendly. Here's one list you may want to look at: https://www.glasgowwithkids.co.uk/category/eating-out/ And while you're there, you could also check out the activities: https://www.glasgowwithkids.co.uk/category/review/
Here's another article that has some good ideas: https://www.visitglasgow.com/eat-drink/family-friendly-restaurants-and-cafes
I'd vouch for Cosmo, which is near the top of the list that Mardee helpfully posted. Fun, informal buffet dining and tasty food from around the world. Lots of kids there on the Sunday afternoon I visited with family.
