Four Adults and one minor

Traveling with a 11 month old. Want a pub with great food, kid friendly plus her name is Fiona, and excellent music. Any recommendations?

What are the rule of engagement for places like Guiness, whisky tasting and Pub visiting?

many pubs in Scotland will not allow children in,there are very strict regulations on children in pubs in Scotland.many pubs will allow children in but only in certain areas and only for meals, in most cases all children must be out the pubs by 8 or 9 pm. many pubs will not allow under 5's in as there are even stricter regulations governing them and certain facilities like nappy changing areas that must be provided.
The Weatherspoon chain are relatively kid friendly and there are plenty of these places about other places it would be best to check with staff if children are allowed.
as most live music will be on after 8 pm in pubs it is very unlikely you and dear little Fiona will be allowed an evening in the pub. you may find the following link useful
