Flying into Glasgow but staying in Edinburgh

I will be flying into Glasgow Airport in June on a Saturday around noon. I want to travel to Glasgow where I will spend 4 nights in a Air bnb in the Bonnington part of town about a five minute walk for the Picardy Place Roundabout. What would be the easiest way to navigate this trip if I don't want to rent a car or take a taxi.

Might want to edit the body of your post to match the title.

If you land in Glasgow you’ll need to get from there to the Glasgow Queen Street Rail Station so you can catch a ScotRail train to Edinburgh. Believe there’s a bus possibly a shuttle from the airport to the train station.

Hopefully another poster can fill you in on how when you arrive in Edinburgh you can get to your AirBnB.

Hi, jrwest1,

Your second sentence is totally confusing. Bonnington is in Edinburgh, not Glasgow.

As others have noted, the best way to get from Glasgow Airport to Edinburgh is to take the number 500 bus from the airport to Queen Street Station. (It's 8 pounds one way.) From there, take a train to Edinburgh Waverley. Once you get to Waverley, take a taxi to your destination. Or you could walk up the hill to Princes Street and walk from there. The roundabout isn't that far away. However, Bonnington is pretty much farther than a five minute walk from the roundabout. Get your address, check it on the map, then go to the Lothian Buses website. See which bus passes nearest to your destination, and take it from Princes Street or North Bridge.

Good luck!

This is really easy to do. I've done many times. I wouldn't waste any time worrying about this. :)
