We need to book a flight from Edinburgh to London for Jun 5th. Can anyone tell us the approximate time of day the tour arrives in Edinburgh on June 5th?

If you're talking about a RS tour then you should contact the tour office to see if they have that information. I highly doubt that anyone on this forum would have that answer.

We are staying in London for an early morning flight out of LHR on the 6th. It is our preference to be in London by 18:00. It is my perception there is not enough travel time to take the train since the RS tour group arrives in Edinburgh sometime on the 5th.

Carol, if you're taking the RS Scotland tour scheduled from May 28–Jun 6, 2018, then you would need to make our Tour Sales department aware that you're planning to leave a night early and not attend dinner nor sleep in Edinburgh the night of June 5. Is that the case? I think it will be difficult to predict the arrival time to Edinburgh with any accuracy, although you obviously should be there before dinner time.
