We are staying in Dornie on I of skye and want to travel by ferry to Isle of Harris- day trip.
Does anyone know how the ferry schedules allow this. Looks like we have to Island hop instead?
Help?:)
A look at the timetable makes it very unsatisfactory as a day trip, indeed pointless.
Better to spend a day enjoying Skye and its attractions and taking the evening sailing, overnight on Harris, then theres a couple off return trips the next day.
Single and return tickets are available.
Unless another Dornie lurks on Skye itself, the better known one is on the mainland about 8 miles from the bridge

It's really better to take a couple of days if you can. Otherwise turn your attention to Skye! Lots to see and do there.
