A couple of years ago we took the ferry between Belfast and Cairnryan instead of the ferry from Larne to Troon. We are going back this summer and hoped to take the Larne/Troon ferry this time - but I can't seem to find the route listed. Can anyone tell me if it is no longer running? If so, is there another ferry that runs to Scotland further north that Cairnryan as that town was not easy to transfer in to get up to Glasgow and the Highlands!

The Larne Troon ferry stopped running in 2016. The only NI-Sco ferries are to both to Cairnryan from Larne (P&O) and Belfast (Stena Line)
