Does anyone know of a private/captain we can book for a short evening boat tour in Skye in August? starting in Portree? I have scoured the boat tour services searchable online and none of them quite work with our itinerary and schedule. Thank you!

You could try contacting the tourist information office in Portree directly. They have a pretty good handle on all of those things. We were in Portree over the weekend, and there were lots of signs for boat trips all around the harbour. Their email address is [email protected] and the telephone number is 011 44 1478 612992.

Mike is right - try the tourist info centre. Most of the small boat owners won't have a website and will rely on word of mouth or their signs on the harbour. I'm a bit far from Portree to know of anything - sorry.
