Can anyone recommend a walking tour of Edinburgh?

We tried to book on short notice with Edinburgh Tour Guides << www.edinburghtourguides.com >> . It is the first one recommended in the RS guide, but we didn't have a very good experience. Our booking and payment went through, but it never gave me a choice of time slots, so I called the phone number and got voice mail. Called again next morning and a rather annoyed woman said "I already sent you an email" that their tours were fully booked that day. Neither on the phone nor in her email (which I later got, after connecting to WiFi) did she say "sorry."
And what about my payment? The email said it could take up to 2 billing cycles on my credit card for the refund to be processed. I was not very pleased about this.
The day turned out to be extremely rainy, so a walking tour probably wouldn't have been a lot of fun. The refund did get processed very quickly -- no waiting for 2 billing cycles.
Moral of story: if you're choosing one of the more popular tours, book ahead and be aware you'll be taking pot luck with the weather.
