From 19 May Tap on Tap Off using the platform validators on the Edinburgh trams starts, for those who wish to pay that way.
The daily fare cap (other than to the airport) will be £5, or £24.50 weekly (Monday to Sunday).
Thus finally the Lothian buses and the Trams have an integrated fare system as the caps apply across both modes.
