We're going to Edinburgh next month and while there we would like to take the tour at Belhaven Brewery in Dunbar. There are buses or trains - neither run very frequently. In looking at schedules, I think our best choice will be to take the train to Dunbar and book a local taxi to take us to the brewery and another to take us back to the train station. That looks like a 6 minute drive.
Has anyone done this trip? What suggestions do you have? Will it be possible to book a cab in advance? Should I avoid trying to do this on a Sunday or any other day?
I think I will also email the brewery to see if they have a suggestion or suggested taxi provider.
Thanks all!
