Ask at the hotel, check on line with Historic Scotland, Visit Scotland etc. The Easter weekend is an important weekend, but thanks to the Calvinism of John Knox Scotland's traditions are not generally arranged around religious observances. Good Friday tends to be an ordinary working day here.
