Has anyone done the Jacobite Package or something similar for the Edinburgh Military Tattoo? I am trying to get tickets to the Tattoo for a Saturday evening this August, and only the high-priced package deals are still available. My only real concern is that I will have my 5-year old daughter with me, and I have no idea if this whole thing (Tattoo and/or dinner) will be inappropriate for her. My only other option seems to be to skip the Tattoo completely which seems like a missed opportunity.

at £215 per person it is expensive but overall a reasonable package when you see what is involved. however this is totally unsuitable for a 5 year old and though I have checked the website it does not give an age range of those allowed on the package.
if I was paying for a £215 package I would not be happy about sharing a table with a 5 year old unless I got their wine and whisky.
best to contact the tattoo offices and see if there are any alternatives
