Edinburgh - Kimpton Charlotte Square Hotel

I will say I’ve stayed at many other Kimpton hotels, and I always pick that brand when available to me. Always a wonderful stay.

I stay with family when I'm in Edinburgh, but the location of that hotel is about as central as possible!
When I lived there as a student in the 70's, it was called the Roxburghe Hotel and was considered very fancy to us poor students!
I believe it's even nicer now.
It's just on the edge of the New Town area.

$360 per night. Yowzah!

I have stayed there once, but for a similar price bracket and location much prefer the Hilton Waldorf Astoria. Rooms are in my opinion much nicer and it's a short walk to the Kimpton if you want to dine in their very good restaurant.
