Edinburgh Hotels

When will you be there?

End of September.

We stayed at Le Monde Hotel, just across the street from the Intercontinental which someone else mentioned (a little cheaper too). Very nice place, we were happy we stayed there.

steven and Steve and LaurieDi, that area is wonderful around St. Andrew Square! I loved New Town, and staying right off the square is really nice. My hotel was about a block or so away but I was in that area a lot and highly recommend it. It has a more residential feel to it than the Old Town of Edinburgh and not nearly as many tourists. Lots of locals walking around and eating in the square. I also loved walking down George St - I had a wonderful walk one evening around 10 pm, and there were still lots of people out walking and going to dinner and so on.
