As from 6 April Lothian are introducing fares revision across Edinburgh- general increases, and some renaming /redefinitions of day and weekly tickets.
At the same time a number of changes to routes will be made. The most notable is the general incorporation of the Eves Coaches network in East Lothian into the Lothian East Coast brand (so some services which are currently little known will become far more visible);
also the rebranding of the Aircoach routes 200 and 400 routes to Leith and the eastern suburbs as the 17 and 18- thus reintroducing local bus fares into the Airport.
The premium fare #100 bus into the City Centre will remain as such.
But for locals or those who resent paying premium fares to an airport this is a very welcome change.
