We are planning a trip with our 2 adult children and their spouses to Scotland, York and Ireland in September 0f 2020. The kids want to pick up an extra vacation day by using the Labor Day holiday. This will put us in Edinburgh just after their big festival season. My concern is that the city will be suffering from "burnout" and things like the Grass Market market, etc. will be thin because the whole city will need a break. Should we be worried?
No, don’t be worried. Edinburgh goes back to its normal self. It’s a nice time of year to be there.
The Grassmarket market isn’t all that, anyway. I mean, compared to everything else Edinburgh has to offer.
Edinburgh is busy all year round but the manic time that is Festival is over and we just go back to normal busy.
