I am traveling on the Best of Scotland Tour in August (festival month!). Our tour starts and ends at the Bonham Hotel. I want to add on 3 additional nights at tours end in Edinburgh. I can either continue on in the Bonham hotel (very expensive) or move on to the Parliament House which is a bit cheaper. I have reservations in both places but need to choose. Looking for opinions from my fellow travellers who are familiar with one or both of the hotels
We stayed at the Bonham two years ago and liked it. Breakfast was very good and room was spacious. Recently I read that they are renovating the rooms--one floor at a time so you may want to check that out.
We stayed at Parliament House with our RS tour last fall. It was wonderful! Good food and drink, convenient location and the staff was helpful and accommodating. I would definitely stay there again.
