Currently on Scotland tour. Dunkeld house had no hot water two mornings in a row. If you’re on this tour heading to Dunkeld House beware!

Oh no!! I’m sorry you have to deal with that. I stayed there during my 13 day Scotland tour and loved it. Alisdaire, our guide, was outstanding. His humor would definitely lighten the mood.
While on the southern England tour, my hotel room in Salisbury had a leak — so did another tour member. I love staying in the older quirkier hotels — they often have draw backs, but not having hot water for a shower would be unacceptable. I am someone who needs a shower in the morning to get me going.
I hope you’re compensated in some way and it doesn’t make you enjoy your trip any less. Scotland is beautiful! I enjoyed my trip so much I’m planning a return in 2028.

We had the same thing occur on our Best of England tour several years ago in Stow on the Wold at Sheep on Sheep. No, I didn’t enjoy washing my hair and taking a Sponge bath in cold water but you go with the flow. Not sure what type of compensation is expected on RS tour where things don’t always go as expected. No Grumps!
