I'm looking for tips on airport travel for our trip at the end of June. We will be flying from Dublin to Glasgow, then at the end of our trip, Edinburgh back to Dublin. We will have to check our bags since they are a little larger than what is considered a carry-on for AerLingus and/or RyanAir.
1) Should I book our regional flights as a round trip or book as separate legs? Not sure if it matters.
2) On our last day, we have to catch an early flight from Edinburgh back to Dublin for a 3pm return flight to the US.
Any advice on the process and time needed is appreciated. We will have to wait for our bags from the EDI to Dublin flight, then go through security and customs. I don't want to take any chances of missing our flight home.
Thanks!
