Taking my CPAP to Scotland. Staying in Edinburgh on Princes Street. Does anyone know where I can buy distilled water? Grocery, pharmacy or convenience store? Do they also call it distilled water? Appreciate your assistance.
It's a challenge in the UK.
This recent post has some thoughts.

There is a large Boots - a pharmacy chain like Walgreens - on Princes St. They should have distilled water. Auto shops also sell it. I believe it’s called purified water or demineralized water in the UK
Linda, you do NOT need distilled water in a CPAP. The distilled water is used at home merely to keep the water from leaving some deposits in the reservoir. However, when traveling there is no reason you cannot use bottled water. I've been traveling for the last 5 years using a CPAP and have never used distilled water on the road.
Usually, every 3-4 days, I will take a clean cloth and just wipe out the reservoir but other than that, just use the bottled water and then switch back to distilled once you are home.
We haven't bothered with distilled water for the CPAP on multiple trips to Europe. Don't worry about it.
Thank you so much for this information. You are all so travel savvy.
Excellent information for me! Thank you.
I had decided that I was going to take a chance with bottled water.
Thanks to this forum, I feel much more confident about traveling with the CPAP - used one for a bit over a year and this is the first journey across the pond with said CPAP
Especially thanks to Mardee for your answer.
Also to Estimated Prophet.
