Am travelling from the US to Edinburgh Scotland in June 2022. As of 1/18/2022, is the following correct?
1. I do no need to test for COVID prior to leaving the US.
2. I must do a PCR test within day 2 of arriving in Scotland.
3. I must self isolate until that test is confirmed negative.
If correct, please answer the following
1. Where do I go or how do I get the PCR Test.? (arriving in Edinburgh).
2. Can I pre-order a test and have it with me when I travel to Scotland and if so, who do I report the test results to?
Thank you.

It may be correct now and will change at least twice before June....
As of 18 Jan. 22
1, Correct
2, Not correct
3, Not correct
1, Official guidance https://www.gov.scot/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-international-travel-quarantine/
2, No
Check again a week before you travel as the rules will be different come June.
Thank you.
Ramblin - you indicate my question #2 is not correct however, please see attached from the link you provided. What am I missing?
"If you’re fully vaccinated
If you’re fully vaccinated, there are 3 things you must do before you arrive in Scotland:
1. Make sure that you’re able to prove you’re fully vaccinated
2. Book a COVID-19 day 2 test
3. Complete a Passenger Locator Form on gov.uk"
I appreciate the help.

well, half a point for a PCR test, but for a full point the correct answer is a PCR test or a lateral flow test 😉
it's quite possible no tests will be needed come June
