I want to write a post here as a thank you to Eleanor at Castle View B&B in Inverness Scotland. This place is recommended in Rick's Scotland Guidebook, and for good reason. Not only is this a great B&B at a great location, Eleanor is the dream host.
When I forgot my rain coat at her B&B, she mailed it back to me in the US. And when I offered to pay her back for the postage she spent, she refused! She is the ultimate in what you could want in a B&B host. Needless to say, I highly recommend the Castle View if you are staying in Inverness.
(I also recommend not forgetting your raincoat when you are traveling in Scotland.)
