Can we fly from Glasgow to either Tobermory or Portree

Hi all,
I am having a hard time figuring out whether there are flights from Glasgow to any of the western isles in Scotland. Float plane would be fine- charter or regular service. I've found information about the seaplane terminal in Glasgow and the one carrier that does scenic tours, but it seems to me there would be some regular service flight wise. If you have any thoughts, please let me know. I have messaged Loch Lomond Seaplanes.
Thanks in advance

There are no regular flights. Loch Lomond Sea planes used to fly scheduled to Oban from Glasgow, but that finished several years ago. It was on my wish list as it was quite affordable relatively speaking (under £100), but never came to be.

On Mull there is Glenforsa airfield. It has had scheduled services in the past, run by Loganair, but you would now have to charter a light aircraft. The airfield is still open for aircraft movements according to ABCT.

The Isle of Skye has Broadford (or Ashaig) airfield- https://www.skyeflyingclub.co.uk/ It has never had scheduled service.

You would have to charter an aircraft in to there.

For Tobermory another route would be to fly scheduled to Tiree on Loganiar, change planes then fly scheduled on Hebridean Air Services to Oban airfield (thence by sea/overland). HAS also do Charter flights including to Islay- so maybe fly scheduled to Islay on Loganair then a charter connection from Islay.
Given how close Glenforsa is to Oban, HAS may well run in Charter for you, if you ask.

Used to see it from the office where I used to work. Always wanted to go, but sort of because it is local 'it was always going to be there'

Took a flying boat tour in Egypt twenty years ago which was excellent though.

I can only speak for Skye, but for those of us who live here there is little demand for an air service to Glasgow. Most locals would not be able to afford the air fare, so for us the Citylink coach service (free for over 60s) is what most use. Our most regular 'off island jaunts' are to Inverness to stock up on essential supplies. Those wanting to connect with air services in London would either use Inverness airport or take the coach to Glasgow and fly from there. There is currently perceived to be insufficient demand from holiday makers to make commercial flights to Skye viable. The air strip is not very long, there is no terminal building, car hire etc. So basically it's impractical and not profitable enough to justify a commercial airport.
