Any trip to Edinburgh should include a trip (or two) to Calton Hill. The views from the top are spectacular! We were lucky enough to have clear and sunny weather the past two days. That, combined with sunset approaching 10 pm in mid-June, made it a truly memorable part of our visit to Scotland’s capital. Our hotel (Cairn Hotel) was across the street to one of the entrances.

I loved Calton HIll - it was a fun climb up and spectacular views! I agree that it should not be missed.

Went twice. First time was misty and atmospheric. Second time was sunny (and busier, naturally). Enjoyed both visits.
