CalMac Timetables Summer 2026

CalMac have now released most timetables for Summer 2026 with booking to start next Wednesday, 17 December.

The routes NOT yet released (to follow on 20 January) are
Mallaig-Lochboisdale,
Mallaig-Armadale,
Mallaig-Small Isles,
Ardmhor [Barra]-Eriskay ,

Lochaline-Fishnish,
Largs-Cumbrae,
Wemyss Bay-Rothesay and
Claonaig-Lochranza

However note that sailings to Islay may be amended if one or both of the new ships enters service with extra capacity, also from 22 April to 14 May a 2nd vessel may be assigned to the route if it becomes available,

For the Isle of Arran, bookings are being taken on the basis of Ardrossan and Troon ports both being open. If the new vessel (the Glen Rosa) enters service then the port of Ardrossan will be closed and all sailings will run from Troon. EDIT 19 DECEMBER - It is now confirmed that the G!en Rosa has a 6 month delay so is not in service until quarter 4 so both ports are open for the summer.

Note that for sailings from Oban to Craignure, on the Isle of Mull, while bookings are being taken it has NOT yet been decided which vessels are running the service in 2026.
If a smaller/different vessel than the Isle of Mull is eventually deployed then some bookings may be diverted onto the turn up and go Fishnish route, and/or the timetable may have to be amended if any replacement vessel is unable to keep to timetable.
