We need to travel in June 2014 from London to Inverness. I want to travel on the sleeper train, but did not know how difficult it is to book this service. Does it fill up immediately when the times come available? Any ideas about cost for the rooms with 2 beds during this busy season?

Hi Laura, I've not done the sleeper train (would like to, someday). A site for train travel that I see recommended often is http://www.seat61.com/ There's a section about the Caledonian. Cheers.
