We will be taking a couple days to hike in the National Park. We will be traveling from Skye. Any lodging recommendations are appreciated!
Hi, cmwood, I have not stayed in the Cairngorms region, but did a quick search on this forum and found one post that might help. This will also bump the post up so others might read it.

In addition, I would suggest trying Undiscovered Scotland, which not only has an incredible amount of information for each area, but also has lists of available lodging. You search by area, then narrow it down using the menu in the top right. For example, here is Aviemore hotels, but you can also look for B&Bs in a separate listing or check another area.
By the way, I don't know if you have discovered Walk Highlands yet, but if not, it is a wonderful resource for finding hikes all over Scotland. Here is the Cairngorms page: https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/cairngorms/ You can narrow it down to specific areas and find hikes, complete with descriptions, maps and photos. It's really invaluable if you are hiking in Scotland.
Ballater is a pretty village in the Cairngorms National Park and the following guest house is a nice place to stay. Never stayed there myself having no need because Ballater is only 40 minutes or so drive from where I live but friends have and were very comfortable there.
Lots of good walks in the area for all abilities can be found on the previously mentioned Walk Highlands website
https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/cairngorms/ballater.shtml
and in nearby Braemar too
