Is this bus connection do-able?

Hello, I looked for another post on this but didn't see one, so I apologize if it is redundant! In July we will be on the first ferry from Oban to Craignure (we have our tickets purchased), which arrives at 8:15. We're planning to take the public bus from Craignure to Fionnphort for the ferry to Iona, and that bus leaves the ferry terminal at 8:30. This seems like a tight turnaround and it makes me nervous, although I doubt we're the only ones making this connection! Is it do-able, or should I look into the cab driver recommended in the Rick Steves book? If we miss the bus, the next bus does not leave until the afternoon, and although we're staying overnight on Iona, that would really limit our time there. Thank you!

Yes it is both do-able and intended. All connections in both directions (Fionnphort and Tobermory) are intended and run as ferry connections.

It is really about 10 minutes more time than you need.
