Best Mode of Transportation to/from airports and hotels for our 13-Day Scotland tour

In Glasgow there are no trams. The Airport Express bus drops you in St Vincent Street, 4 blocks away (downhill) from the Radisson Blu.

What is the best way to get from the hotel in Edinburgh to the Edinburgh airport? That is the location that mentioned a tram.

HI, John, as isn31c said, you can get a taxi to your hotel from Glasgow Airport, but it's really just as easy (and much cheaper) to take the Airport Express 500 bus. Glasgow Airport is pretty small and the Airport Express 500 bus is easy to find. Just walk out the airport doors, turn left and continue down past the taxi queues until you see a purple double decker bus and join the queue of people waiting to get on.

I downloaded the First Bus app and bought my ticket ahead of time but you can also just use Tap and Pay on the bus. The bus takes 20-30 minutes to get to the city. To get to the Radisson Blu hotel, just get off at Waterloo Lane, then your hotel is a 4 minute walk from there. You can pull up Google maps (or other sat nav on your phone) to see the route.

Where is your B&B in Edinburgh?

If the B + B to which you refer is the one located at 3 Rothesay Terrace, then you take a short walk to the tram station and it will take you straight to the airport. You can use google maps street view to walk the route ahead of time, but you'll be there the day before so I'm sure the guide can point it our to you.

TC meant the Trams from Haymarket Train Station to Edinburgh Airport- as there is no airport train station

From Edinburgh to the airport, the bus is super easy! Not sure where your B & B is located, but I believe there are a few different places you can catch it - the one we got wasn't far from Waverley Station, on the New Town side.

(We also took the bus into Edinburgh from the airport via the bus as well.)
