We are planning to take the Calmac ferry from Kilchoan to Tobermory on Sunday, May 18. We will not be able to arrive until the 13:45 ferry. It looks like there are 2 later ferries. Is there any benefit to purchasing the fare ahead, or can we just wait until we arrive? We will have a car. How far ahead of departure should we arrive? Thanks for your help.
