Thanks to all regarding answering my questions on traveling from London to Scotland. I leave on May 6 th from London to Scotland and just realized it’s a bank holiday. Is this a bad day to travel on the LNER. Are there less trains or does it matter?

There will be a normal weekday service running on LNER. However services may be busier than normal as Avanti West Coast will have disruptions/possibly no service into Euston, so their Anglo-Scottish traffic could all end up on LNER.
Avanti are not confirming timetables until 13 March at the earliest so it's a bit unclear.
So make sure you have your LNER ticket booked ASAP (maybe even think about 1st Class that day for more room), then bluntly you're all right!
