If you visit the Falkirk Wheel, the aqueduct the boats travel on for the short trip pass under it. And you can easily walk up to it from the center and check it out.

The Antonine Wall was a turf wall and not in use for very long. That means in many places there isn't a lot left, apart from a ditch and a bit of a bump. (It isn't as impressive as Hadrian's Wall.)

There is quite a bit of information about the Antonine Wall here and it lists the top ten places. .

The best bit is Rough Castle, which is the best preserved fort on the wall. It can be reached on foot from the Falkirk Wheel, via a signposted path from the visitor centre. The walk takes about 15 minutes.

The fort is free and accessible any time. There's more information here.

The other place worth seeing is the remains of a Roman bath house at Bearsden, on the north side of Glasgow. The bath house is signed off the A808, Roman Road. There isn't parking by the bath house, so you may need to find parking in one of the side streets off Roman Road. The rest of the Roman fort has been covered by roads and housing, but the remains of the bath house have been excavated. Again it is free and accessible any time.

More information here.

Thank so much! We will try to visit Rough and the Roman baths north of Glasgow. I understand most of the abby ruins are south of Edinburgh in the "borders' area...
