Thanks so much, phred —I have a WSJ subscription and totally missed these. The first one is spot on for my next trip to Scotland. I loved my stay on Lewis and Harris and really want to head back to the Outer Hebrides. And hopefully have time for a side visit to Orkney and Shetland
And if you don't know her, Ruth is an entertaining vlogger who just hops into her little ex-Post Office van and travels just about everywhere in Scotland, she is very busy
I know you're a bit of a Youtube watcher, like me phred. Do you watch Steve Marsh? He's the best outdoors-y Scottish vlogger at the moment imho.
Well here's a thing...last year at Morar Games ,I lurk in the background ( in a highviz top) while Ruth was filming the MAD band.

I am in Morar again right now ,great set of folks..they asked me back to lend my talents.
