Airport Shuttle to Inverness Shuttle

We have a 7am flight out of Inverness airport in May. Any recommendations on where to stay and how to get to the airport super early? I can't find any hotels with shuttles. I saw there was a Courtyard near the airport, do we just walk with our luggage? Any help, advise would be greatly appreciated as this is our first trip to Scotland

HI all, It's less than ten miles to the airport from the city centre. AND we are not talking heavily trafficked miles as you would see from downtown Chicago to OHare. If it were me, I would stay in the city centre and schedule a taxi or a uber to take me to the airport. It might take you twice as long to get there, but we're talking 6-8 minutes walk vs a 15 minute cab ride. Staying in the city centre lets you really enjoy a final night in the highlands. Have dinner at Roc Pool or the Mustard Seed. :). I've done this with early flights out of Inverness and out of Edinburgh. The ONLY time I go nervous was when I was dropping off a car at the Edinburgh Airport and and had stayed outside of Linlithgow and ran into serious traffic at that time of the AM. Inverness is a way smaller place with much less traffic particularly before 6 AM. If that's too stressful, stay at the Marriott Courtyard. Me, I'd be staying somewhere near the city centre where I could have a final stroll along the river and have a final whisky at Hootananny. :)

Thank you for your information! Greatly appreciated. I love food but also stress when it comes to getting to the airport in plenty of time. We took a suggestion out of Rick's book and looking at the Premier Inn and was looking at the Hootananny for sure. Thanks again,Rob

I have stayed at the Premier Inn Centre River Ness twice. It's a standard Premer Inn. Clean and quiet. Easy walk over a pedestrian bridge to the heart of the town.

I took a cab from the airport to hotel and it took about 20 minutes. Have the hotel arrange for a cab the day before and one will be there.

The Inverness aiport terminal is very small. I mean very small.

The Courtyard near the airport does not have shuttle. It's about a third of a mile to the terminal.

The Courtyard is less than a 5 minute walk to the airport, but as others have said it might be nice to stay in town on your final night and have dinner at one of the recommended restaurants.
