My husband and I will be driving from Edinburgh to the Glenfiddich distillery mid-July. Does anyone know a good place to spend the night close to the distillery?
Thank you, Denise
Dufftown itself will have a few places ,Aberlour is a few miles away and I have stayed in the Highlander Inn in Craigellachie which is a real whisky haven .Easy to get a bus to Dufftown and a short walk to the Distillery if you don't want to drive

The Craigellachie hotel, really nice and I have been there for a drink but it is way above my price range, Bill Clinton once stayed there.
Thank you so much for the recommendations! Did not want to have to drive after the Glenfiddich tour. We have never been to Scotland, are trying to figure out the best itinerary and places to stay.

I know I mention local buses but taxis will be available to ,and from Dufftown to Craigellachie or even Aberdour will not cost much
Thank you for the tips! The Craigellachie Hotel does not have availability for our dates; however it looks so lovely, maybe we’ll have to drop in there for a drink.
Will be stopping in Stonehaven for a for a night also on the way there . Have a place booked, hope it’s okay!
worth doing so,there is the Cooperage in Craigellachie you can visit and it has a nice picnic area ,the distillery there is nice though I don't think they do tours also just outside Craigellachie is the Macallan distillery that is worth visiting.
