From Monday 7 July Aberdeen Airport is to get a new bus service to Dyce Railway Station - the hourly #737 Monday to Friday.
Journey time 14 minutes - hourly from the airport at 33 minutes past the hour 0733 to 1833, returns at 48 or 52 past the hour 0748 to 1852.
A welcome return of a long lost link.
This supplements the existing 727 into the City centre. That route has a new timetable with the first service to the Airport now at 0215, and hourly trips extended south of Aberdeen, some as far as Stonehaven.
The connecting trips to the Northlink ferry terminal remain.
In addition Ember Bus are now running from Union Street (starting at the Bridge of Don Park and Ride site) to the Airport every 3 hours or so non stop.
The airport is a request stop in both directions, booked on line up to 10 minutes before travel. That service extends very limited stop to Inverness (all stops pre booked as above only).
This new link allows for direct connections from ABZ to the Isle of Skye and Thurso (for the far north and day ferries to Orkney.
This is an introductory service to be enhanced later in the year.
Excellent new connectivity.
