We will travel to Edinburgh the the very end of February, for 4 days. (These dates can't change, we are piggy backing on a work trip.). We will have our 3 Teen & Pre-Teen kids. They have read dozens of books on Scottish history. We are all aware that no one actually marches around Scotland in a kilt, blowing their bagpipes. But we would just love to see some stereotypical Scottish music and dancing! It is our kids' first trip to Scotland, and as they get older, they will be able to get past the tourist imagery, but for our first trip, we are going for the Cheesy Image. (Think of the Griswolds....). Wish we could see the "Tattoo" in the summer, but if you are able to guide us to an evening activity that will show our kids some old-fashioned Braveheart costumes with exciting music, we would appreciate it! A dinner theater or even a cafe with live music would be great.
Thank you!
